IoT Solutions Engineer
Location: Remote | Experience Level: Mid (3+ years)
Deploy autonomous systems into the real world. You'll work as an IoT Solutions Engineer, integrating Harnas into IoT and robotics applications, turning autonomous agents into deployed solutions that solve real customer problems.
About the Role
IoT Solutions Engineers at Arlin Systems bridge the gap between our agentic embedded framework and real-world deployments. As an IoT Solutions Engineer, you'll work directly with customers and internal teams to integrate Harnas into IoT devices and robotics systems, architecting autonomous solutions tailored to specific applications.
You'll work on:
- Customer solutions - Design and deploy Harnas-based solutions for specific customer IoT and robotics use cases
- Hardware integration - Integrate agents with specific hardware platforms and sensors
- Application development - Build autonomous applications on top of Harnas
- System architecture - Design end-to-end autonomous systems from device to cloud
- Deployment & optimization - Deploy solutions to production and optimize for real-world performance
- Technical support - Provide expertise to customers deploying Harnas-based systems
- Feedback & iteration - Work with product teams to improve Harnas based on real-world needs
About You
Required:
- 3+ years of professional experience in IoT, embedded systems, or robotics
- Experience deploying real-world IoT or robotics systems
- Strong understanding of embedded Linux and IoT platforms
- Proficiency in at least one embedded programming language (C/C++, Python, or Go)
- Experience with sensor integration and IoT hardware
- Ability to debug complex hardware-software integration issues
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Nice to Have:
- Robotics experience (ROS, hardware platforms, autonomous systems)
- IoT platform experience (AWS IoT, Azure IoT, GCP IoT)
- Experience with autonomous vehicles or drones
- Background in customer-facing technical roles
- Knowledge of edge computing and distributed systems
- Contributions to open-source robotics or IoT projects

- Provide technical support and troubleshooting during customer deployments
- Document solutions and best practices for future implementations
- Gather customer feedback and work with product teams on improvements
- Create case studies and documentation showcasing successful deployments
